Hello Whisker Junction friends,

We’re excited to share an important update about what’s happening next at Whisker Junction at Keith’s Store—and how our community can be part of it. 

As we move forward, we’ll be clearing out the back building, which currently contains old equipment and appliances. This step prepares the space for upcoming renovations and for a long-held dream: creating a new shelter and safe haven for adoptable cats.

What’s happening..

• The back building will be cleared and readied for renovation

• You may notice increased activity as this work gets underway

• This progress brings us closer to a safe, comfortable, and enriching space for cats awaiting their forever homes

• There will be a fundraiser to aid in servicing of the septic system being that there will be another restroom installed in the building.

• Keith’s Store will remain open throughout this process

• Whisker Junction’s mission continues without interruption

• Keith’s Store will keep serving as a community hub, supporting Whisker

  Junction, local neighbors, and other nonprofit organizations

This next chapter wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community. As we prepare for renovations and the future cat sanctuary, we are grateful for:

Donations: Financial contributions, services, supplies, and materials will help us cover renovation costs and prepare the sanctuary space for roof, sheetrock, and floor repairs, paint, flooring, bathroom installation, septic system service, electrical work, and split system HVAC. Every donation—big or small—makes a real difference.
